Does anyone know any good books for someone who want to learn to play the guitar?

i really want to learn how to play the guitar but it seem im going to have to learn by a book.

You should go with a book that has simple songs, but one%26#039;s that you actually WANT to learn. Also, it should include chords and tabs (for picking) and it%26#039;s a good idea to make sure the songs include examples of the chords on top of each page (to show where your fingers should be) so that you don%26#039;t have to constantly refer to another book. I like the variety of having the music, the chords (with examples on top), and the tabs. Once you get more confortable with the easier chords, you can move on to the more difficult.
